Description

The 61-key keyboard (a conventional piano has 88 keys) is perfect for playing pop songs or simple classical pieces. Although the keys have the same rectangular shape as those of a piano, the keyboard has a lighter touch which makes it easier for beginner pianists, compared to a heavier key mounted in a standard piano keyboard. You can also use headphones with the NP-15 if you are concerned about disturbing those around you while playing.

"Piaggero", the name of the NP series, combines "Piano" with the word "leggero" (light). As the name suggests, the NP-15 is extremely lightweight, even for a portable keyboard, so you can take it anywhere. Indoors, outdoors, or even traveling, feel free to take it to your favorite places and practice. Yamaha acoustic technology provides the powerful sound of the Piaggero, a sound you wouldn't expect given its compact size, with resonant grand piano-style low notes and beautifully detailed high tones.

The Piaggero offers the sound of a Yamaha concert grand piano, the CFIIIS. The sound has been sampled from a piano with a bright and transparent tone, spacious highs, and an overall solid sound texture. The Piaggero is an instrument for those who love the piano. Its modern design features aspects reminiscent of a piano and focuses only on the most practical functions, making it extremely usable and allowing even those unfamiliar with digital instruments to use it intuitively.

Perhaps you want to learn to play the piano, but the keys are so heavy, causing you to think your fingers will get tired; or perhaps you think your fingers are not strong enough to achieve the desired "fortes". Connect the instrument to Yamaha's "Smart Pianist" app, developed exclusively for use with Yamaha digital pianos, for even more intuitive operation than when using the instrument itself. In addition to managing the instrument itself, Smart Pianist can also display musical scores. It is also possible to use the UD-BT01 (sold separately) to connect to apps via Bluetooth MIDI.
