The single-cutaway electro-acoustic guitar Yamaha Fg-Ta Transacoustic Brown Sunburst features a Traditional Western mahogany body, mahogany back and sides, a Sitka spruce top, a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard, a Nato neck, and a rosewood bridge.

Yamaha's innovative TransAcoustic technology offers integrated reverb and chorus effects. The key to TransAcoustic is a built-in actuator, a small device hidden inside the guitar.

The vibration of the instrument's strings causes the actuator to vibrate; these vibrations are transmitted to the guitar body, as well as to the surrounding air.

The result is authentic reverb and chorus, without the need for amplification or additional effects.
