Thanks to over 17 years of development, the Yamaha CFX piano has become our flagship 9′ concert grand piano. The CFX offers sparkling highs and powerful lows, an incredible dynamic range and the strength to project sound above an entire symphony orchestra.

Bösendorfer is unique among piano manufacturers, as it is the only manufacturer in the world to still use the traditional Viennese handcrafted design. This produces warm lows, singing highs and rich tonal colors, known as the “Viennese Sound”. The 9.5′ Imperial 290, 8-octave, is the flagship of Bösendorfer grand pianos. The extended bass notes resonate with every key you play, and the imposing soundboard supports the projection of all frequencies.

The S700 acoustic grand piano is handcrafted by Yamaha master artisans and has the power to stand out in dense arrangements, while remaining delicate and expressive in solo and sparse contexts. The S700 piano sound was one of the most popular sounds of the S90ES and S90 stage synthesizers.

88-WEIGHTED KEY STAGE PIANO

Building on decades of experience in stage piano manufacturing, Yamaha has meticulously adapted the sound of each individual key and achieved a perfect balance across the entire keyboard length, creating full-bodied piano sounds ideal for solo performances, and rich sounds suitable for ensemble playing. Furthermore, by analyzing and replicating the sound production mechanisms of classic electric pianos, using state-of-the-art technologies, Yamaha has been able to achieve an extremely smooth response from the CP88's keyboards. The CP series employs a keyboard with a weighted hammer design, virtually indistinguishable from an acoustic piano. The NW-GH (Natural Wood Graded Hammer) keyboard of the CP88 with synthetic ebony and ivory keys reproduces the touch of a grand piano, giving all keys a resistance that increases from the highest to the lowest register. With a finely crafted, elegant aluminum exterior, in a lightweight and compact format, the CP88 offers an exceptionally professional appearance and convenient portability on stage. The user interface provides the direct and intuitive control required for live performances. The three Voice sections - Piano, E.Piano, and Sub - are clearly indicated on the top panel, offering all the controllers you need on stage, and allowing you to directly adjust every parameter while playing. LED indicators show the selected voice, allowing you to fully concentrate on your performance. In addition, you can enhance sounds on the fly, adding various effects to suit your performance while playing. Full MIDI controls and powerful master keyboard functionalities simplify connecting and using instruments with software synthesizers and external MIDI devices. Furthermore, the instrument has an integrated USB audio/MIDI interface for practical recording functions in home and professional studios, as well as on stage.
