The Yamaha BB735A bass combines the best features with the convenience of an extra string. It comes with an extra low B string, but you can change it to a high C string if you prefer more high-end extension. Looking closer at this Broadbass from the 700 series, you'll notice that the neck-to-body attachment is different from standard: six screws are used, two of which are angled at 45°, to ensure maximum stability and even greater sustain.

The neck and body also contribute to the overall stability of the instrument. The former consists of three pieces of maple, alternated with two of mahogany, for unprecedented robustness. The body is also a mix of two woods: the center is maple, enclosed in an alder shell; the whole generates a balanced mix with pronounced mids and a light, irresistible punch, which will make you stand out in any mix. The open-gear tuners and Vintage Plus bridge are extremely solid, yet comfortable and lightweight. You can choose whether to anchor the strings at the bridge or pass them through the body at a 45-degree angle for good tension; additionally, the rotatable saddles give you ample freedom for tuning adjustments.
