Yamaha Stage Custom 22' Natural Wood Drum Kit

The shell is a crucial factor in determining a drum kit's resonance. For this reason, the Stage Custom uses birch wood – a classic in the world of high-end drum kits. Furthermore, thanks to its six-ply construction, the Stage Custom transmits vibrations produced by the striking surface, achieving performance that surpasses any instrument in its class.

The secret of our YESS system is twofold: on one hand, it offers minimal contact between the hardware and the shell; on the other hand, it allows the hardware to be connected to the drum's nodal point* – which is the point where there is no interference with the shell's vibrations. Nylon bushings on the clamps ensure maximum stability. The YESS system allows the toms to be positioned close together and does not hinder quick head changes. On floor toms, the YESS system offers ample open sustain while maintaining the tom's stability even under the most vigorous strokes. *The nodal point mounting system is patented by the Noble & Cooley Drum Company.

A stabilizer located on the bass drum pedal side allows for adjusting the height and beater positions so that it strikes the center of the head. A clamp on the rod slides into a dedicated slot at the bottom of the bass drum, thus allowing the desired height to be set and maintained.
