The Yamaha AC3R ARE Concert Western guitar offers exceptional volume thanks to its solid body and heat-treated top. The Yamaha SRT2 pickup also provides the perfect sound on stage or in the studio.

If you're looking for a practical "all-rounder" for the couch, stage, or studio, the Yamaha AC3R ARE is the ideal partner. A solid body with a Sitka spruce top on a rosewood body with scalloped X-bracing provides clearly defined bass, nuanced mids, and fine silver highs. The result is great for light strumming and fingerstyle, making this Yamaha model an extremely versatile instrument.

The A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) system, the heat-treated top, has somewhat aided the aging process. As a result, this concert body resonates with a significant increase in response and sustain.

Additionally, the "High Comfort" neck profile with rounded fretboard edges offers a pleasant and smooth playing feel. Last but not least, a hard case is already included.

If you're looking for the perfect sound pickup for both stage and recordings, you can listen to Yamaha's SRT2 system. A professional mix of undersaddle pickups with two microphone simulations provides a wide range of sounds. A Neumann U67 and a Royer R122 were used as models to achieve optimal sound.

In total, four potentiometers are available: Potentiometer (A) controls the output volume, potentiometer (B) controls high frequencies, potentiometer (C) controls low-frequency level adjustments, while automatic feedback reduction is activated by pressing the same button. Pot (D) controls the mixing level between the pickup and the simulated microphone source, while the two microphone types can be switched by pressing the button down.
