KORG XE20 SP is a digital piano with an 88-note weighted Natural Touch keyboard, with a Stereo PCM 184-note polyphony sound generator, 2 grand piano multisamples, and over 700 sounds with all timbre families, processed by 2 digital effects. 280 interactive Styles across every musical genre enrich every performance, while the internal Player/Recorder plays MIDI and Audio (Mp3, Wav) music files from a USB stick, or records in real time, playing back the result from its internal 18Wx2 amplification. XE20 SP comes already equipped with a wooden stand and a 3-pedal unit.

XE20 SP - DIGITAL ENSEMBLE PIANO

It is a digital piano with automatic accompaniments; it uses an 88-note NH (Natural Weighted Hammer Action) weighted keyboard, with two distinct grand piano tones and a library of interactive accompaniments called Styles that enrich every performance by producing the musical support of an entire Band. By playing chords, the instrument automatically generates the accompanying musical parts with the most suitable instruments for the current Style, with the possibility of selecting up to 4 Variations or adding Fills (musical passages), Intro Break or Ending at the desired moment, an excellent system for live and spontaneous performances!

Keyboard with the touch of an acoustic piano

This instrument uses an 88-key NH (Natural Weighted Hammer Action) weighted keyboard, which reproduces the touch of a grand piano, including the tactile sensation generated by the difference in hammer weight between the bass and treble registers. This component has great sensitivity and refined balance to effortlessly achieve a wide dynamic range. It is also particularly suitable for specific piano studies, while its extension also favors the performance of four-hand piano pieces or fun duets with friends or family.

XE20 SP has the timbres of two of the most renowned and prestigious concert grand pianos worldwide:

    
• German Piano: of great power and expressiveness, an instrument loved by many pianists and concert performers, with a distinct and characteristic timbre, with a brilliant and present treble register and a dynamic and powerful bass range. 
    
• Italian Piano: famous worldwide, with a harmonic spectrum rich in resonances capable of expressing the musical sensibility of each performer to the fullest.

In addition to its extraordinary pianos, XE20 SP has a large and versatile sound database with over 700 timbres, all very expressive and realistic, including: electric pianos, organs, Synth Pads, Brass, Strings, Drum Kits and many others; all accurately sampled from real acoustic and digital instruments; each sound can be used for real-time performance or as part of automatic accompaniments.

The interactive accompaniments of XE20 SP

The Styles of XE20 SP automatically generate a complete musical accompaniment based on the selected Style and the chords played on the keyboard. A very realistic musical support, similar to a real band that faithfully follows every musical need; in this way, XE20 SP makes every performance more interesting and lively, whether it's your favorite song or a complex improvisation. XE20 SP offers more than 280 Styles carefully selected from musical genres around the world, each with: 4 Variations, i.e., different levels of arrangement complexity: from the simplest in VAR1, to the most instrument-dense in VAR4, recallable simply by pressing a button. In the same way, it is possible to set an introduction: INTRO, or an ending: ENDING, for the song you are playing. These musical parts are all manageable in real-time, and add significant variety to your Performances.

Record and replay XE20 SP songs

XE20 SP records and stores every Performance to be listened to later; in SONG mode, it is also possible to use: standard MIDI Files or Audio files such as Mp3 or Wav, played directly from a USB storage device such as a USB stick.

XE20 SP is only 34 cm deep and weighs only 11.4 kg. The elegant wooden stand supplied and its compact dimensions allow it to fit perfectly into any environment and decor.

App dedicated to music production based on mobile devices such as iPad/iPhone, which features miniaturized synthesizer and drum machine modules called "<em>gadget</em>", with the possibility of combining them freely to produce music easily and with an intuitive interface.
