It comes in a Dreadnought shape with a Solid Italian Spruce top, Rosewood back and sides, a Mahogany neck, and an Ebony fretboard. A no-compromise series based on a selection of woods from all over the world. WOW, an acronym for Wood Of the World Series, but also the exclamation of those who see these guitars for the first time, represents the top of the EKO catalog range. Every single guitar is unique, and every wooden part is selected from a wide range of precious materials such as Cocobolo, Ovangkol, Koa, Rosewood, Sapele, and others. The entire WOW series is All Solid, meaning that with a solid top, back, and sides, the nature of the wood is enhanced to favor a particularly specific timbre.

Master luthier, Roberto Fontanot, carefully selects the woods for each instrument to create masterpieces that will be the joy of every single musician. The variety of woods used for the back and sides of each individual guitar will give the six strings completely different characteristics in terms of sound.

The choice for the top fell on Italian Red Spruce, selected from the most figured and highest quality grade, originating from a region in the Alps known for supplying woods used in the production of the world's finest violins; only a few producers have access to these private reserves.

The Wow D800e SR comes in a Natural color with a Gloss finish and a Dreadnought shape. The combination of Solid Spruce on the top and Solid Rosewood on the back and sides, the result of careful research, gives this instrument a very broad and always well-balanced tonal spectrum on every single string. A decidedly important feature is the presence of a very high-performance amplification system, the Fishman Flex Blend: composed of a piezo and an internal condenser microphone, this system allows you to capture every nuance of the guitar thanks to the possibility of gradually adding the signal from the microphone to the piezo signal, via a "blend" potentiometer. Among the controls, in addition to the output Volume and blend, there is a display tuner (activatable by pressing the volume potentiometer) and an EQ control that works in "mid-scooped" mode: when set to minimum, the signal is not equalized (flat), increasing it gradually reduces the mid frequencies in favor of bass and treble, very convenient for obtaining a sound that is already "ready" for the mix. If the guitar should have feedback problems, a very common situation in acoustic settings, it is possible to invert the phase by pressing the EQ potentiometer. All these features combined make the Wow A800e SK an instrument suitable for professional contexts, both in the recording studio and on stage.
