The Way Huge WM45 Doom Hammer Fuzz is a fuzz pedal that delivers thick '90s-style saturation. It all started in the original Way Huge lab in 1988, when Jeorge Tripps modified a 1978 op-amp powered fuzz circuit for the band Oranger. Praised for its less pronounced "scoop," Tripps refined the design for tighter lows and more reliable live performance. Many years later, he would build a handful of prototypes based on that modified version: from there came the sonic hammer now known as the Doom Hammer Fuzz. The Output, Tone, and Fuzz controls allow you to tailor the pedal's velvety harmonics to your rig. For a more pleasing crunch, you can play with the Fuzz knob by lowering its intensity.
