WAV4 Omni Bass is the 4-string Omni Bass from the WAV series by NS Design, featuring a 34" scale, designed for the bassist seeking the characteristics of a double bass or, conversely, for the double bass player who wants a more portable instrument.

MAIN FEATURES OF THE WAV4 OMNI BASS

Polar™ Pickup System
The Polar™ pickup system delivers a rich sound with both bowing and pizzicato techniques. The WAV4 Omni Bass responds to the bow with a natural and expressive sound, rich in lows with brilliant harmonics.

Passive Electronics
This instrument can be played with any amplifier with a high impedance input, or with any other equipment using a D.I. Box. The WAV4 does not use batteries, eliminating the cost problem and helping to protect the environment.

Fingerboard
The TransRadius™ fingerboard profile is familiar to the neck profile of an electric bass, thanks also to the 9.25" radius. At the end of the fingerboard, the radius is only 2", enough to allow good articulation with both the bow and fingers or a pick.

34" Scale
The 34" scale of the WAV4 Omni Bass is the same as an electric bass, and the fingerboard has the same string spacing as a bass. These features and the tuning in fourths make this instrument familiar to any bassist.

Construction
The Maple body and neck, along with the graduated fingerboard, provide a rich and full sound on every note. The adjustable bridge and dual-action truss rod allow you to set a low action for a faster style, or a high action typical of acoustic instruments. In addition to the included NS Electric Omni Bass Strings by D'Addario, the WAV4 Omni Bass is compatible with any standard electric bass string set, adding an unlimited range of options for the musician who wants to explore and create their own sound.

Boomerang™ Strap System
The included Boomerang™ Strap System allows for maximum mobility on stage and in the studio. The strap is positioned over the shoulder similar to an electric guitar, but the adjustable arm allows the instrument to remain perfectly in position.
