Famous for his groundbreaking work with Extreme, GenAx, and tours with Rihanna, Nuno Bettencourt is truly a guitar hero who inspires millions of guitarists worldwide. While best known for his electric work on the Washburn N4 Signature, Nuno and Extreme rose to fame with the acoustic hit, "More Than Words," on which Nuno played a Festival series acoustic/electric guitar.It is in that spirit and desire to create the perfect instrument for stage and studio that Washburn and Nuno have teamed up to create the EA20S-Nuno Bettencourt. The guitar is a thin-bodied Auditorium style acoustic/electric with a Florentine cutaway for extended access to the upper frets. It features a book-matched solid Sitka spruce top with quarter-sawn scalloped bracing and a beautiful Pau Ferro back and sides. A smooth satin-finished mahogany neck offers maximum comfort paired with an Ovangkol fretboard. The fretboard also features Nuno's "mourning widow" inlays at the 12th fret. Graphtech Nubone nut and saddle allow for maximum sound transmission and increased sustain.
