Warwick's Gnome Series bass heads are, quite rightly, the embodiment of the impossible, one of those objects that fearlessly defy physics, mercilessly tearing apart the Siffredi-esque proverb that size matters.

Three amplifiers with Lilliputian features and unheard-of power, aptly named "GNOME": equipped with a Class D power amplifier that effortlessly delivers 200 and 280 watts depending on the model, with a complete suite of connections and controls, all contained in an elegant, decidedly pocket-sized satin box, little bigger than a cigarette packet, weighing under a kilogram.

The substantial difference between the three heads, wattage aside, is a simple but very important "i". The GNOMEi and GNOMEi PRO faithfully reproduce the characteristics of their sibling with one less vowel, completing the package with a very practical USB audio interface, which allows them to connect to a PC and be used as a sound card.

Rounding out this collection of pocket amplifiers are two cabinets, equally astonishing in terms of power-to-weight/size ratio: one equipped with 2 x 8" speakers and capable of delivering 200 watts, the other with 1 x 10" speaker for 150 watts.
