With the brand new Streichfett, Waldorf brings back to life the glorious String Synthesizers that characterized much of the music of the 70s and 80s. The Waldorf Streichfett is a compact, stand-alone portable unit based on the well-established chassis used for the Rocket paraphonic synth and the brand new Waldorf 2-Pole filter. The dual synthesis engine integrates a complete polyphonic string section and a monophonic "Solo" section. The Ensemble button affects the blend of the String Section, while the Effect section allows you to add reverb, phaser or a special "Animate" effect. The Solo section includes Bass, E-Piano and Clavi presets, all sounds designed to blend with the String Section. Up to twelve patches can be saved in the Memory section, and the on-board equipment is completed by MIDI and USB connections.
