The VT40X is a guitar combo amplifier with a Valvetronix preamplifier, a tube-driven preamp circuit, from Vox. It delivers 40W RMS power and features a 10" speaker. Thanks to VET technology, it can faithfully simulate a wide range of iconic amplifiers and effects, savable in 33 programs and also manageable via software. It also has a headphone output and aux input. The ideal combo for daily practice, useful in the rehearsal room, on stage, and in the studio.

OVERVIEW OF THE VOX VT40X COMBO

The VTX series features a new modeling engine and sounds better than ever! Using VET (Virtual Element Technology), based on an analysis of the amplifier's components and circuits, VTX amplifiers produce a more accurate and realistic sound than ever before. These amplifiers also feature a Valvetronix tube preamplifier circuit. This preamp incorporates authentic analog circuitry to achieve and capture all the tonal characteristics of a tube amplifier. In addition to this smart circuit, VTX amplifiers feature a tightly sealed cabinet and an exclusive bass reflex system designed to provide breathtaking resonance. You can go beyond classic modeling parameters thanks to the Tone Room editing software, which allows you to customize amplifiers and effects to achieve your ideal sound!
