D'Addario VENN: advanced synthetic reeds made from polymer fibers, resins, and natural cane elements. Designed to offer musicians the advantages of synthetic reeds without compromising the sound and flexibility of cane reeds.

Developed by the industry's most renowned engineers, VENN reeds mark a new era in wind instrument innovation, combining the stability and longevity of synthetic reeds with the sound and feel of natural cane reeds. To reproduce the organic structure of cane, we applied a reverse engineering process to the material itself, layering different polymer fibers together with resin and natural cane elements, thus obtaining the reed profile.
