Vandoren Single Reed Bb Clarinet V12 3

V12 reeds for Bb clarinet are made from cane blanks with the same diameter as those used for alto saxophone reeds.

As a result, V12 reeds have a thicker heel and a longer, fuller vibratory plane than traditional reeds.

This allows for a richer and darker sound. The thicker tip gives body to the attack and makes it more durable over time.

The introduction of the 3½+ strength allows for more specific and closer gradations of strength. This results in greater consistency between reeds of the same strength.
