Description

Triple pedal with Sustain, Soft (una corda) and Sostenuto functions. The Sustain pedal is dynamic and supports half-pedal, as well as dynamic control of the proprietary 'Pedal Noise' function on compatible instruments.

• The right pedal is the Sustain pedal; when pressed on an acoustic grand or upright piano, it reproduces the sound generated by the release of the Dampers from the strings.
• The left pedal is the soft pedal, or “Una Corda”. On an acoustic piano, this function slightly shifts the mechanism so that the hammers do not strike all the strings. The result is a softer timbre and slightly reduced volume.
• The center pedal is the Sostenuto pedal; it allows only the notes already played at the moment it is pressed to be sustained. Subsequently played notes remain unaffected, as if the pedal were not activated.
