The Tone Hammer 700 is a 700-watt bass amplifier head, part of Aguilar's Tone Hammer series. This amp head combines a solid-state preamp with a Class D power section, offering significant power in a lightweight and compact format. The TH 700's design is based on the highly acclaimed Tone Hammer D.I. preamp, giving this amp head great flexibility in tone management. Weighing only 2.2 kg, the Tone Hammer 700 is one of the most versatile amp heads on the market, perfect for bassists who seek powerful sound without sacrificing portability.

Second-generation innovations include an IR Loader module with three cabinet simulations, which can be activated via a switch on the rear panel and modified via USB connection using the Aguilar Suite. This allows access to all Aguilar cabinet simulations and the addition of custom Impulse Responses for complete sound personalization. Additionally, a second XLR DI output has been added to allow sending pre- and post-EQ signals, improving control over in-ear monitoring and re-amping operations in the studio. An Aux In input and a dedicated volume-controlled headphone output have also been introduced, ideal for daily practice and silent study. A further novelty is the automatic switching transformer, which automatically adapts to the input voltage, eliminating the need to manually change switches.
