Offering all the playability and vibrant sound players expect from the flagship 800 series in a frame with a slightly more traditional look, the 814e combines the tone-enhancing properties of V-Class bracing with a renewed focus on playing comfort. The rosewood wood pairing of solid Indian rosewood back and sides with a Sitka spruce top delivers a pleasantly responsive low end with chime-like highs and a slightly scooped midrange, with power, sustain, and intonation all enhanced by V-Class bracing. This version of our most popular Grand Auditorium has been updated with a rosewood radius armrest for a smoother, easier playing feel, along with new smoked nickel tuners for an improved aesthetic. Expectations for this model mirror those of its cutaway counterpart, with a true smoked Crelicam ebony fretboard, maple binding, rosewood edge, abalone rosette with rosewood edge, and Element fretboard and mother-of-pearl inlays. With ES2 electronics onboard, this model comes with a deluxe hardshell case.
