The Taylor 814ce Deluxe V-Class features a Sitka Spruce top, Rosewood back and sides with an armrest for comfortable playing, a mahogany neck, a 25.5" scale 20-fret "Smoky" ebony fingerboard, and an ebony bridge.

The V-Class version is equipped with the revolutionary "V" bracing pattern designed by the brilliant Taylor luthier Andy Powers.

This innovative bracing allows for overcoming the compromise between sustain and resonance that exists with traditional "X" bracing. This innovative "V" bracing allows the soundboard to move in sync with the strings, thereby increasing sustain without stiffening the structure, thus achieving both high sustain and high resonance.

Other prestigious details include gilded Taylor Tuners, rosewood and maple finishes, as well as mother-of-pearl Element inlays.

The electronics are the renowned Taylor Expression System 2, a patented amplification system by Taylor capable of capturing the guitar's sound.
