Embodying Taylor's focus on creating the best sound experience, the 812e blends incisive acoustic sound with a relaxed, intimate feel that will impress musicians of all styles and skill levels. Solid Indian rosewood back and sides pair with a Sitka spruce top to serve up a lush blend of low-end warmth and high-end sound, all powered by integrated V-Class bracing, which optimizes soundboard vibration to produce more volume and longer sustain that encourages overtones to bloom as notes and chords resonate. To preserve a more traditional aesthetic and feel, we've left the cutaway off this model, but added a rosewood armrest with a touch of ergonomic design. Aesthetically, this Grand Concert guitar is designed to catch eyes wherever it goes, with details like maple binding, rosewood edging, an abalone rosette, a rosewood pickguard, smoky nickel tuners, and a maple backstrip. Taylor's proprietary Expression System 2 pickup and preamp are integrated to provide faithful plugged-in sound.
