With the new all-koa 700 Series, Taylor master designer Andy Powers has embraced the natural beauty and sonic virtues of koa in a new way that reveals a different musical personality from Taylor's Koa Series.

Where the Koa Series features an ultra-defined look and sound, with richly finished wood and a smooth voice, the new 700 Series reveals much more of koa's natural character in both appearance and sound. The selected koa with its unique grain provides a magnificent "chiaroscuro" effect.

The new bracing inside the instrument, together with an ultra-thin matte finish, provide a livelier, punchier and more direct response from the guitar, making it exceptionally high-performing.

The thin finish with the natural wood grain creates an inviting tactile feel for musicians.
