The Gold Label Series expands with the introduction of the Grand Pacific Dreadnought shape to the 700 Series, featuring rosewood back and sides.

The latest addition to the Taylor Gold Label collection brings an additional touch of warm, round, old-school acoustic sound that will change your expectations of how a Taylor should sound. A modified round-shoulder Grand Pacific dreadnought with a deeper body, the Gold Label 717e Blacktop combines Indian rosewood with torrefied Sitka spruce to produce a rich, powerful voice, with a robust low-end character and a warmth that extends across the entire frequency spectrum. Inside, a fanned variant of our V-Class bracing architecture adds more volume and longer sustain, while our patented Action Control Neck™ system incorporates a long tenon joint to warm up low-frequency resonance and offers unparalleled adjustability and playing comfort: simply turn the internal screw to change the action (string height) in seconds, without having to remove the neck or detune the strings.

A striking black top finish is complemented by cream binding, rosette, pickguard, and Crest inlays, with a Honduran rosewood Curve Wing bridge and Indian rosewood bridge pins completing the aesthetic details. Finished with a full-body gloss finish, the Gold Label 717e Blacktop features LR Baggs Element VTC electronics and includes a deluxe British Cocoa hardshell case.
