The Gold Label Series expands with the introduction of the Grand Pacific Dreadnought shape to the 500 Series, featuring mahogany back and sides.

With a golden-brown burst top, the Gold Label 517e SB exudes a visual appeal that reflects its traditional sonic personality. This re-imagined Grand Pacific, updated with a greater body depth than the original round-shouldered dreadnought design, is a powerful electrified acoustic with exceptional bass power. Solid mahogany back and sides are paired with a torrefied Sitka spruce top for a woody, earthy tone with a full-bodied mid-range character. Our special soundboard torrefaction process adds extra sweetness, for a tone that sounds even more like older, played-in acoustics. The internal V-Class bracing increases volume and sustain, while also improving intonation across the entire fretboard. A slender, satin-finished Taylor neck boasts our patented Action Control Neck™ long-tenon joint, allowing for on-the-fly string height adjustments to suit your preference. The long-tenon design enhances the wood coupling between the neck and body, resulting in greater low-frequency resonance and a deeper, warmer, and more open sound.
