Featuring layered walnut back and sides, a solid Sitka spruce top, and Taylor's medium-sized Grand Auditorium body, the Taylor 114ce is an excellent choice for musicians seeking a versatile acoustic-electric system. Great for both strumming and fingerstyle players, the 114ce offers clear, balanced sound with great projection and focused mid-range. The sapele fingerboard is sculpted into an ultra-comfortable profile while the narrower 1-11/16" nut width allows for an easier playing feel, which is perfect for developing guitarists. The Venetian cutaway allows comfortable access to the higher frets. For plug-in-and-play flexibility, the 114ce comes with Taylor's exclusive Expression System 2 electronics.
