Tascam US-2x2 HR offers higher performance with audio resolution and sampling up to 24-bit / 192 kHz, ultra-low latency (buffer size on Windows PCs starting from four samples), thanks to optimized drivers, Ultra-HDDA microphone amplifiers with 48-volt phantom power, for superior quality with very low noise, USB Type-C connection and a rich software package, zero-latency direct monitoring function.

The chassis features a unique design with a honeycomb structure in die-cast aluminum on the side panels and a slight upward tilt for ergonomic advantage for the user.

The Ultra-HDDA (High-Definition Discrete Architecture) microphone preamplifiers are based on a discrete construction and feature ultra-low EIN (equivalent input noise) values, which measure the noise floor, equal to -128 dBu, and a signal-to-noise ratio of 110 dB.

The XLR/TRS jack combo inputs allow the connection of microphones and line devices, such as synthesizers; a wide input gain range ensures a sufficient level even with dynamic microphones. Via a front switch, direct input of high-sensitivity instruments such as guitars and basses is also possible.

The software control panel allows the setting of the main functions: direct mono or stereo monitoring, adjustment of the dosage between input signals and those from the computer, and also activation of individual hardware inputs, setting of the Windows buffer size; the Loopback function is also available from the control panel to sum input signals 1/2 with signals 1/2 coming from the computer, very useful in case of live streaming: the software slider allows you to adjust the final volume of the "broadcast".

Tascam US-2X2 HR is also fully compatible with iOS devices, i.e., iPad or iPhone, benefiting not only from professional converters but also from MIDI input/output, and connecting synths or drum machines even to mobile setups.

Tascam US-2X2HR includes a remarkable bundle of software: the famous DAW Steinberg Cubase LE (including Cubasis LE3 for iOS); IK Multimedia Sample Tank SE, with a 30 Gigabyte sound library and more than 2,000 virtual musical instruments; a 3-month free subscription to Antares' Auto-Tune Unlimited, the most famous suite for pitch correction and vocal effects.
