OVERVIEW OF THE LAG TRAMONTANE 88 T88DCE

A worthy heir to the Tramontane 80 series, the Tramontane 88 builds on the quality of its predecessor and takes it to a higher level. The top of the guitars in this series is made of solid Engelmann Spruce, while the back and sides are made of Khaya Mahogany. The fretboard and bridge share the same wood, namely Branko Wood, an alternative to Rosewood designed and manufactured by Blackwood Tek. This series offers guitars with similar characteristics to those of the Tramontane 70 series, but it is designed for guitarists who prefer a glossy finish.

The T88DCE is the Dreadnought Cutaway from the Tramontane 88 series by Lag. This shape, along with the solid Engelmann Spruce top, gives this instrument good volume and a balanced sound, with a good presence of mids. The Branko Wood used for the bridge and fretboard, made by Blackwood Tek from short-cycle pine forests, is 100% ecological. Furthermore, it is resistant to changes in humidity and temperature, making it ready for use immediately after transport. Its proper coloration makes it a valid alternative to rosewood. The cutaway allows for easier access to the higher frets. The Stage-Lag amplification system, in addition to the tuner and volume control, offers a 3-band equalizer and a Phase button to invert the phase. Finally, the Mid. Freq. knob allows you to choose the frequencies managed by the mid control.
