The T88ACE is the Auditorium Cutaway acoustic guitar from the Tramontane 88 series by Lag. This guitar features a solid Engelmann Spruce top, while the back and sides are made of Khaya Mahogany, with a glossy finish. It is amplified with the Stage-Lag system.

OVERVIEW OF THE LAG TRAMONTANE 88 T88ACE

A worthy heir to the Tramontane 80 series, the Tramontane 88 takes the quality of its predecessor series to a higher level. The top of the guitars in this series is made of solid Engelmann Spruce, while the back and sides are made of Khaya Mahogany. The fretboard and bridge share the same wood, namely Branko Wood, a Rosewood alternative designed and manufactured by Blackwood Tek. This series offers guitars with similar characteristics to the Tramontane 70 series, but is designed for guitarists who love a glossy finish.

The T88ACE is the Auditorium model of the Tramontane 88 series from Lag. This body shape shares many tonal characteristics with the Dreadnought shape, but the narrower waist increases the comfort of the instrument. In addition, the cutaway makes it easier to reach the upper part of the fretboard. The solid Engelmann Spruce top gives this instrument good volume and a balanced sound, with a good presence in the mid-range. The Branko Wood used for the bridge and fretboard, produced by Blackwood Tek from short-cycle pine forests, is 100% ecological. Furthermore, it is resistant to changes in humidity and temperature, which means it is ready for use immediately after transport. The right coloring makes it a valid alternative to rosewood. Thanks to the Stage-Lag system, you can define your sound, using the three-band equalizer and the notch control to reduce feedback. Finally, the Mid Freq. knob allows you to select the frequencies managed by the mid-range control. Also available in a left-handed version.
