Description

Unlike many units we associate with gain and overdrive, Fairfax is not really a distortion pedal. Instead, it is a fully miniaturized, 100% analog amplifier, based on a little-known tube device from the 1960s that powered a host of classic rock anthems. The sound and feel of Fairfax are extremely tube-like, with additional harmonics and saturation coming from an intelligent circuit that emulates the actual output transformer behavior of a tube amplifier. It is a drive pedal that feels completely natural to play, maintains the natural sound of the guitar, and blends notes in a truly organic way.
