The Stingray Classic Ray24CA Butterscotch by Sterling by Music Man is inspired by 1970s basses: with a vintage "slab" flat body shape, a scaled-down 38mm nut, and ceramic pickups, it delivers the "big" sound typical of that era. It is made with a Mahogany body, Maple neck and fretboard. From an electronics standpoint, it features 1 Sterling ceramic humbucker pickup powered by a 2-band active preamp, 1 Volume control and 2 Tone controls. It has a 21-fret medium fretboard, 864 mm scale length, 9.5" radius, 38 mm nut width, Open Gear tuners, single-action truss rod, and 6-bolt neck/body joint. It is designed to offer a full and round sound, ideal for bassists who love the retro tone of the 1970s.
