OSTD2NB - A4/a' 440 Hz / D3/ A3, C4, D4, E4, F4, G4, A4, C5The Meinl Energy Octave Steel Tongue Drum is made of high-quality stainless steel. It has a main note in the center, plus eight notes around the circumference. These eight notes each feature two tongues, with a different octave. This creates an extraordinary meditative sound similar to that of a handpan. There is a sound hole on the bottom, which can be closed with a silicone plug to control the sound. Three silicone feet prevent the instrument from sliding. You can play the Steel Tongue Drum with mallets or with your hands, just place it on a flat surface or on your lap. The Meinl Energy Octave Steel Tongue Drum includes two wooden mallets with rubber heads and a carrying bag, with handle and zipper closure.
