The Console 1 mixing ecosystem is much more than just a DAW/Plug-in controller. It is an efficient and elegant system that sounds great, a modern solution capable of combining hardware and software, offering the user the best of both worlds: the versatility, accessibility, and ease of use of in-the-box mixing and the workflow, feel, and focus that only a physical machine can offer. There are various approaches to mixing. For many, using faders involves significant "muscle memory." This is no coincidence: setting and managing five/ten different sounds or groups simultaneously, while continuously listening to and adjusting the parameters of one's work, is a discipline that engages the entire body. Software alone cannot even remotely approach this kind of approach. This is why Console 1 Fader was created. Quality Feel The ten motorized 100mm Alps faders offer a professional feel, while the robust metal chassis, with its elegant Scandinavian design, ensures longevity and sturdiness. The Fader contains two software emulations, Tube and Discrete. It is much more than just a surgical digital tool. Fader enriches the sound just like old analog consoles, from filtering to saturation. The design resembles that of Console 1, and similarly, "Fader" guides the user to new levels of control over the mixing world. The unit allows the user to control up to ten channels simultaneously, working on volume, hi-cut and low-cut filters, drive and drive character (saturation based on console modeling), and much more. It is obviously possible to navigate through multiple channels with the "page up" command, which allows selecting another ten, thus enabling the management of even hundreds of different channels within a single session. The single potentiometer on the Console 1 Fader allows controlling the pan of each individual track but also unlocks powerful tools for working on the stereo image, to make individual tracks more "open" or "consolidated," finding the perfect space for each individual sound within the mix. The Console 1 Fader unit can be used alone or together with the original Channel Strip Console 1 to achieve a complete experience as close as possible to that of a real console. It is also possible to use multiple Fader units to build the ideal workflow within a specific studio.
