C1 is the designation for the Shubb Standard series capos, whose design was revised in 2013.

Current models feature characteristics previously only seen on Deluxe series capos.

This is a capo with a typical Shubb design, combining simplicity with high reliability and functionality. It is made of durable nickel-plated brass, the strings are held in place by a high-quality solid rubber, which acts like the pad of a finger - it does not push the strings out of alignment, transfers uniform tension to them, and the strings hold their tuning wonderfully.

Furthermore, the tension can be freely adjusted using the adjustable pressure feature. Thanks to the thoughtful shape of each component, the capos are easy to put on and take off, while still being easily positioned anywhere on the neck.
