The Shredmaster is Marshall's distortion pedal meticulously reproduced to the specifications of the iconic original pedal. This faithful reissue captures the sonic characteristics of the original Shredmaster, Marshall's first high-gain pedal. This pedal also exactly reproduces the original design, carefully replicating aesthetic details such as the gold Shredmaster name, the embossed Marshall logo, and the durable chassis.

MARSHALL SHREDMASTER OVERVIEW

At Marshall, distortion is lived and breathed. It is created, shaped, and projected there. That's why expectations were high when the original Shredmaster was launched in 1991. It promised high-gain distortion, perfect for saturated rhythms and searing solos. Offering new levels of distortion, the original Shredmaster was used in numerous tracks in the late 90s. Subsequently, demand for the distinct, thrashy sound of the Shredmaster skyrocketed, but the pedal remained difficult to obtain. Thanks to this authentic and faithful reissue, this will no longer be a problem. Guitarists will be able to get their hands on an exact reproduction of the original Shredmaster. The components and features that made it so special have been carefully recreated for today's guitarists. The 5-control layout allows you to adjust gain, volume, and EQ: unlike many distortion pedals, the Shredmaster features a Contour knob that works on midrange frequencies without interacting with others, allowing you to close or open the mids to fine-tune your sound. It was designed and hand-built at the famous Bletchley headquarters, where acclaimed amplifiers have been made for over 60 years.
