11024-08 Bright, incisive, and aged to perfection, the Antiquity II Surfer vintage Stratocaster pickups capture all the classic 60s single-coil tones. Take your Stratocaster through decades of foundational genre-defining rock, surf, country, and blues tones with the Antiquity II Surfer vintage Stratocaster pickups. The Antiquity II Surf Neck provides that smooth, chimey bounce that only a Stratocaster can produce. Our specially calibrated alnico 5 magnets and custom scatter wind give the treble attack a subtle sweetness without losing harmonic brilliance. The middle pickup in the set is RW/RP for perfect hum-canceling in positions 2 and 4. The Antiquity II Surf for Strat Custom Bridge pickup is wound for extra midrange and output for more versatility. We wind these 50% hotter, then slightly mellow the treble attack by demagnetizing the alnico 5 rod magnets. It cuts through the mix much easier than a traditional Strat bridge pickup, while still retaining that classic Stratocaster tonal character. Solos leap out more musically, and chords will ring with the perfect amount of midrange sparkle. Hand-built in our custom shop, each pickup is aged to look and sound like a 60s original. We use vintage-correct blue/yellow cloth wire, light gray flatwork, and custom aged covers for the right look. Antiquity II Surfer vintage Strat pickups are all lacquer potted and wax potted.
