The SE Swamp Ash Special is the electric guitar from the PRS SE series with a Swamp Ash body and a 22-fret Maple fingerboard. This guitar is a unique offering in the growing PRS SE series, thanks to the combination of woods and the three-pickup configuration: the two 85/15 "S" at the bridge and neck are complemented by the PRS-designed AS-01 Single Coil "S" for powerful sound thanks to the presence of Alnico and Steel. The PRS SE Swamp Ash Special is an instrument that offers unique features in the PRS SE series. The body is made of Swamp Ash, while the neck and 22-fret fingerboard are made of Maple. The voice of the SE Swamp Ash Special is versatile, thanks to its three-pickup configuration. At the bridge and neck are 85/15 "S" humbuckers, while in the middle is a PRS-designed AS-01 Single Coil. This pickup is made with Steel and Alnico, a combination that adds mass, helping to sustain the sound. With push-pull tone control and a 3-way selector switch, this guitar offers a versatile sound, with brilliant yet smooth highs, intense lows, and a "twang" tone suitable for "hot country," blues, and even jazz. A PRS Patented Tremolo bridge completes the package. Vintage Sunburst finish.
