The BL8 is a microphone with a half-cardioid polar pattern, featuring a capsule directly derived from the renowned sE8 small-diaphragm condenser. Its hand-crafted condenser capsule utilizes an ultra-thin (3-micron) gold-sputtered diaphragm for superior transient response.
