Scarlett OctoPre is an 8-channel analog-to-digital preamplifier and converter in ADAT format, equipped with 2^nd generation Focusrite Scarlett preamps. In addition to the 8 input channels, the Scarlett OctoPre includes 8 direct line outputs that can be used, for example, for direct connection to a stage mixer for live or rehearsal use, or as a standalone analog microphone preamplifier.

The Focusrite Scarlett OctoPre is ideal for expanding any quality multichannel DAW recording system, thus adding 8 analog inputs to your sound card, mixer, or audio interface equipped with an ADAT input. With its high-headroom microphone, line, and instrument inputs, it is perfect for recording drums, guitars, keyboards, vintage analog synths, vocals, and much more.

The Scarlett family's microphone preamplifier guarantees natural sound and abundant gain, allowing for precise level setting and uncompromising vocal recording. Redesigned for competitive sensitivity, it enhances every type of electric guitar or bass and faithfully reproduces its dynamics and frequency content. The latest generation converters integrated into the Scarlett Octopre allow recording with a sampling frequency of up to 192 kHz and a bit rate of 24 bit.
