Onboard Preamp 4 Knob System and Mid Boost for electric bass with control plate - Pre-wired system that offers the same controls and legendary active preamp found on all Sadowsky basses - This system is compatible with the cavities of most new generation J Style basses, therefore requiring no further modifications upon installation - Active preamp for passive pickups - Controls: Volume + Balance + Vintage Tone Control (Push/Pull to activate or deactivate it) + Treble and Bass (Stacked) + Mid Boost On/Off Switch - Active EQ controls with bass boost (up to +18dB at 40Hz) and treble boost (up to +18dB at 4kHz) - The VTC is passive - When the equalization is flat, the VTC works at its full potential - Lowering the VTC reduces the amount of high frequencies in the output signal - The Mid Boost adds 10.6dB at 500Hz - Power supply: 9V Battery (average duration approx. 870 hours) - Current draw: 9 mA.
