Designed and manufactured in Australia, the M5 is a compact ½" cardioid polar pattern microphone with low self-noise and extended frequency response. Thanks to RØDE's years of experience building microphones like the NT5 or NT55, the M5 is a high-quality "pencil" microphone that will impress even the most demanding sound engineers and artists. Ideal for recording, both in the studio and live, a wide range of acoustic instruments, choirs, or anything else suitable for small-diaphragm microphones, in both mono and stereo configurations. For matched pairs, the microphones are carefully selected for their similarity, ensuring that the sensitivity difference between the two microphones is always less than 1dB. A certificate confirming the authenticity of this matching process is included with the package. The M5 features RØDE's patented ceramic scratch-resistant coating and comes with WS5 windshields and RM5 clips.
