Description

The Ranger Futura is Eko Guitars' electrified acoustic guitar, amplified with a Fishman Flex Plus T system. It features a Dreadnought shape with a Solid Italian Spruce Top, Figured Okoume back and sides, a Figured Okoume neck, and a South American Roupana fretboard. Ideal for the guitarist/singer-songwriter who loves to accompany themselves primarily with strumming techniques, perfect for live contexts and in recording studios.

OVERVIEW OF THE RANGER FUTURA BY EKO GUITARS

The Ranger Futura model from Eko Guitars was created to celebrate perhaps the most representative guitar of the Italian brand, the Eko Ranger. The Ranger Futura is designed and assembled in Italy using Solid Italian Spruce for the top, Figured Okoume for the back, sides, and neck, and South American Roupana for the fretboard and bridge.

The bracing, specifically designed for the Ranger Futura, is entirely made of Solid Italian Spruce. The newly designed truss rod features three carbon bars positioned and fixed inside the neck. A fundamental characteristic is the neck/body joint which, as in the historic Eko Ranger, is made using four screws. This choice, in addition to preserving Eko's tradition, taken as an example by other important and renowned brands, allows from a manufacturing perspective to keep costs lower and at the same time give the instrument interesting characteristics of attack, response speed, and sustain: especially when compared to guitars in the same price range.

The decal rosette, inspired by the seventies, is the detail that immediately transports us to the atmosphere of that era. The soundhole has an ivory-colored ABS binding.

It is equipped with a Fishman FLX-CAA-AAA Flex Plus-T amplification system which, thanks to the Sonicore undersaddle piezo, the adjustable tone via volume, bass, and treble controls, and the integrated tuner, allows complete management of your sound. Tuning is stable and precise thanks to the Grover tuners.
