OVERVIEW OF THE RANGER CW EQ BROWN SUNBURST BY EKO GUITARS

The Eko Ranger 6 EQ features the classic Dreadnought shape with a Spruce top and Linden back and sides. The neck is Okoume with a South American Roupana fretboard with 20 frets, and a plastic saddle and nut. The onboard preamplifier is the Eko SE30: the system controls the piezoelectric pickup and offers Volume, Bass, Mid, Treble controls, phase inverter, and a display tuner. Ranger is certainly the word that resonates most in Eko's history and has helped establish it as a brand at a European level. Born under the name J-52, this guitar has been updated and improved over time, leading to the J-54 (6-string) and J-56 (12-string) versions, which were renamed Ranger VI and Ranger XII in 1967 respectively. Famous for their excellent value for money and their indestructibility, they are still present in many guitarists' homes today, perhaps in a corner of the living room as a decorative item.
