OVERVIEW OF THE RANGER 6 EQ BROWN SUNBURST BY EKO GUITARS

The Eko Ranger 6 EQ features the classic Dreadnought shape with a Spruce top and Linden back and sides. The neck is made of Okoume with a South American Roupanà fretboard with 20 frets, and a plastic saddle and nut. The onboard preamplifier is the Eko SE30: the system controls the piezo pickup and offers Volume, Bass, Mid, Treble, Phase Inverter, and a display tuner. Ranger is certainly the word that resonates most in Eko's history and has contributed to establishing it as a brand at a European level. Born under the name J-52, this guitar is updated and improved each time, leading to the J-54 (6-string) and J-56 (12-string) versions, which were renamed Ranger VI and Ranger XII respectively in 1967. Famous for their excellent value for money and their indestructibility, they are still present today in the homes of many guitarists, perhaps in a corner of the living room as a decorative object.
