Eko Ranger 6 features the classic Dreadnought shape with a Spruce top and Linden back and sides. The neck is Okoumè with a South American Roupanà fretboard with 20 frets, and a plastic saddle and nut. Ranger is undoubtedly the word that resonates most in Eko's history and has contributed to establishing it as a brand at a European level. Born as the J-52, this guitar has been updated and improved over time, leading to the J-54 (6-string) and J-56 (12-string) versions, which in 1967 were named Ranger VI and Ranger XII, respectively. Famous for their excellent value for money and their indestructibility, they are still present today in the homes of many guitarists, perhaps in a corner of the living room as a decorative object.
