Description

BT-Pro V2 by Radial Engineering is a Direct Box with integrated Bluetooth capable of wirelessly connecting to smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices, with a pair of balanced analog audio outputs (XLR connectors) for connection to a PA System. Each BT-Pro V2 has a unique identifier, allowing multiple units to be used within the same setup. BT-Pro can also be powered via 48 V Phantom power directly from a professional mixer.

BT-Pro V2 allows quick connection of any smartphone, tablet, or mobile device to an audio system for high-quality audio playback. It connects wirelessly via Bluetooth, eliminating the need for cables and adapters, with the freedom to move around while staying connected. The Bluetooth 5.0 protocol used in this unit ensures superior audio quality, ideal for professional situations. BT-Pro V2 is built with a rugged 14-gauge steel outer shell, with injection-molded plastic inserts that allow for a wider Bluetooth reception range. It features balanced XLR outputs for connection to professional audio equipment, with a volume control, a headphone output for signal monitoring, and a Mono switch to reduce channel requirements when needed.

48V Power and Unique Device Identifiers

To facilitate use in live audio applications, BT-Pro can be powered via 48V phantom power supplied directly from the PA System's mixer. This allows the external power supply (included) to be used as a safety backup or to eliminate it from the setup entirely. With 48V phantom power, BT-Pro provides MIC-level signals on the XLR outputs; using external power instead produces line-level signals that can be connected directly to the LINE inputs of a mixer, avoiding the use of additional MIC channels. Each individual BT-Pro V2 unit has a unique Bluetooth identifier, allowing multiple devices to be used nearby. This simplifies the use of multiple BT-Pros in various operating situations, avoiding confusion and interference between the various devices.
