Allen & Heath Qu-6 is a 96kHz digital mixer with 25 motorized faders, 38 inputs (32 mono mic/line, 3 stereo) and 24 preamps. It offers 12 configurable mixes (6 mono, 6 stereo), 4 matrices, and 6 FX engines. It features a 32x32 USB-C interface for PC/Mac, multitrack recording/playback to SD card, and USB-A for stereo rec/play. It has a 7” capacitive touchscreen, channel display and chromatic meters on each channel, and 8 assignable SoftKeys. SLink port for Everything I/O stagebox. Includes Gain and Feedback Assistant, 32-channel AMM, and remote control via Qu-MixPad and Qu4You apps.

Compared to the more compact Qu-5, the Qu-6 adds faders, inputs, and outputs, offering 24 mic/line inputs on combo XLR/Jack connectors, 25 100mm motorized faders, and 16 XLR outputs. The internal routing is based on 32 mono inputs (linkable), 3 stereo, 12 total mixes (6 mono, 6 stereo), and 4 matrices, with 6 dedicated FX engines.

The mixer is designed to ensure direct interaction with every aspect of the sound: the 7" capacitive touchscreen guides the user with a redesigned and intuitive interface, while the channel displays with chromatic LED meters offer immediate visual control. The 4 customizable fader layers and 8 assignable SoftKeys allow for tailored configuration for every operating scenario.

Connectivity is on par with modern productions: the USB-C interface allows multi-channel recording and playback (32x32), the SD slot supports multitrack up to 32 tracks at 48kHz or 16 at 96kHz, while the USB-A port offers simple stereo recordings and backups. The presence of the 128x128 SLink port enables integration with Allen & Heath's Everything I/O stage system, compatible with both dSnake (48kHz) and GX/DX (96kHz) expanders.
