With the WEDGE series, PROEL has set a standard for affordable, road-proof stage monitors, offering a great value monitoring solution with perfect sound intelligibility, high SPL, and a low-profile, easily transportable cabinet. Version 2 of this highly successful series represents a significant step forward, with design refinements and feature enhancements.

The lightweight Class D amplifier modules with SMPS have been completely re-designed to provide maximum reliability even when the system is pushed to high sound pressure levels. Coupled with precise analog processing, they deliver an extremely detailed response, particularly in the vocal range, and excellent feedback resistance. Two EQ presets are available for using the speaker not only as a stage monitor (MONITOR) but also as a main system (FOH).

The elegant design of the enclosures, with integrated handles and a recessed connection panel and pole mount, has been optimized by further reducing the profile and, therefore, the visual impact. Knowing very well the abuse that stage monitors are subjected to, we have significantly improved the resistance of the cabinet's polyurethane paint finish, making them resistant to any excess.

The custom coaxial transducers, which provide perfect alignment between HF and LF and controlled directivity for perfect listening from any position, have also been improved, particularly the 10" which now features a higher efficiency compression driver.

V2 WEDGE monitors are available in three models, offering the ideal solution for every monitoring situation. The ultra-compact WD10AV2 can provide a high-performance monitoring system even on small stages and is the ideal solution for vocals and keyboards. WD12AV2, with its high SPL and full-range response, is the preferred choice for vocals, guitar, wind instruments, and electronic instruments, or as a high-power monitor for DJs. WD15AV2, with its full extension and powerful, deep low-frequency response, is the ideal monitor for bassists and drummers. The horn-loaded HF section and powerful amplifier make it the ideal solution for monitoring even on large stages.
