Overview

PROEL introduces the S Series, a new range of powerful and compact sub-woofers designed specifically to perfectly match PROEL full-range speakers. The variety of sizes, power outputs and SPLs offered by the four active models can provide, at an unbeatable price point, the perfect low-frequency extension for any speaker model in the PROEL catalog.
All SW models use high-excursion woofers in a Hybrid Band Pass (HBP) configuration. This innovative design can provide greater efficiency than direct-radiating sub-woofers and also ensures better coupling of the tuning ducts with the external air, reducing distortion and turbulence, for a more defined sound and a deep, dynamic low-frequency response.
The new CLASS D amplifier modules with Switch Mode power supply are light, compact and reliable and can generate high levels of continuous power. All models include a STEREO input section, 24dB/oct crossover filters with selectable frequency and a PHASE selector.
The cabinets are constructed from 15/18mm plywood and covered with extra-resistant polyurethane paint. They include two integrated handles and 75mm wheels for transport (S15 and S18)
