With FLASH X, PROEL introduces the third generation of a series of loudspeakers that for years have been a benchmark for compact and portable systems. The new FLASH8XD and FLASH12XD loudspeakers continue a long history of high-definition sound, reliability, and robustness in an affordable format, adding significant improvements in technology and a completely new style, and once again offering the ultimate in performance, functionality, and design.
FLASH XD are powered by newly designed amplifiers capable of delivering up to 1000W or 600W of clean, undistorted power. The high-efficiency Class D output stages, combined with a lightweight and compact SMPS power supply, provide FLASH XD with significant 'thrust' and a constant power reserve. The integrated 2-channel mixer with independent LINE and MIC inputs can instantly transform any FLASH XD into a PA system.
The use of carefully selected and customized loudspeakers, including high-definition compression drivers and long-excursion woofers, provides accurate acoustic response and incredible sound pressure levels with very low distortion.
FLASH XD are controlled by the powerful PROEL CORE LT DSP, with high-performance signal processing and high-definition 24-bit converters, capable of offering exceptional sonic definition and dynamic performance typical of top-end systems. The CORE DSP signal processing includes a sophisticated dynamic EQ, capable of precisely processing the system's sound while maintaining a full dynamic range at any level. Furthermore, the CORE LT DSP system offers extensive dynamic protection to the system to always achieve maximum output power. 5 EQ PRESETS (MUSIC, LIVE, DJ, SPEECH, MONITOR) can be easily selected to adapt the loudspeakers to any type of application.
Common features of FLASH X are the lightweight and compact PP cabinets with extended internal ribbing and trapezoidal profile, the wide-angle constant coverage high-frequency horns (90°x60°) for uniform sound dispersion, the newly designed ergonomic aluminum handles, and suspension points for fixed installation.
