Description

The DPX PFC is a series of ultra-lightweight amplifiers capable of delivering a considerable amount of power in both portable and fixed installations, combined with exceptional performance and maximum portability in an extremely convenient format.

Thanks to the advanced Class D technology used in the output stages, we have been able to develop a very powerful amplifier in a compact and ultra-lightweight enclosure. The extremely efficient switching mode power supply (SMPS) with Power Factor Correction (PFC) technology further reduces weight and provides universal power, resulting in the same amount of energy always being delivered to the loudspeakers regardless of mains voltage fluctuations, and eliminating the need for different power supplies for different markets, with their associated reliability problems.

All models feature a built-in 24 dB/octave stereo crossover with BI-AMP and HIGH-PASS options, to easily filter a 2-way SUB-SAT system without the need for external equipment. Precise clip limiters with fast attack ensure distortion-free operation at maximum output power, while a comprehensive protection system safeguards both the speakers and the amplifier.

The electronics are housed within an ultra-lightweight aluminium enclosure, providing efficient thermal dissipation while also offering protection and long-term durability.
